मोटर इंश्योयरेंस रिन्यूह कराने के लिए पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट जरूरी : इरडा जुलाई 2018 में बढ़ते वाहन प्रदूषण पर चिंता जताते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बीमा कंपनियों को निर्देश दिया था. उसने कहा था कि जब तक मोटर इंश्योमरेंस पॉलिसी के रिन्यूअल की तारीख पर गाड़ी के मालिक के पास मान्यक पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट न हो, तब तक बीमा नहीं किया जाए. गाड़ी के प्रदूषण को लेकर नियम सख्तर होते जा रहे हैं.आगे से पॉल्यूेशन अंडर कंट्रोल सर्टिफिकेट यानी पीयूसी नहीं होने पर बीमा कंपनियां मोटर इंश्योषरेंस पॉलिसी को रिन्यू करने से मना कर सकती हैं.
बीमा नियामक इरडा ने बीमा कंपनियों को हिदायत दी है. उनसे इस बारे में सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले का सख्तीस से पालन करने के लिए कहा गया है. शीर्ष न्या यालय ने कहा था कि जब तक गाड़ी के मालिक मान्ये पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट उपलब्धे न कराएं तब तक किसी मोटर पॉलिसी को रिन्यूा नहीं किया जाए. दिल्ली-एनसीआर को लेकर इसमें खासतौर से सख्तन रुख अपनाने के लिए कहा गया है. ऐसे में अगली बार जब आप मोटर इंश्यो रेंस पॉलिसी का रिन्यूअल कराने जाएंगे तो आपसे बीमा कंपनी मान्य पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट दिखाने के लिए कह सकती है. इस बारे में 20 अगस्त 2020 को इरडा ने एक सर्कुलर जारी किया है. रेगुलेटर ने इसमें कहा कि सेंट्रल पॉल्यूपशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड (सीपीसीबी) ने दिल्ली और एनसीआर में सुप्रीम कोर्ट के उक्त. निर्देश के पालन की स्थिति के बारे में चिंता व्यक्त की है.उसने सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कहा है कि सर्वोच्चक न्यारयालय के निर्देश का ईमानदारी से पालन हो. दिल्ली-एनसीआर में इसका खासतौर से ध्यािन दिया जाए. जुलाई 2018 में बढ़ते वाहन प्रदूषण पर चिंता जताते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बीमा कंपनियों को निर्देश दिया था. उसने कहा था कि जब तक मोटर इंश्योेरेंस पॉलिसी के रिन्यूअल की तारीख पर गाड़ी के मालिक के पास मान्यथ पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट न हो, तब तक बीमा नहीं किया जाए. पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट क्याय होता है? :- यह एक सर्टिफिकेट है जो बताता है कि वाहन से होने वाला उत्संर्जन प्रदूषण नियंत्रण के मानकों को पूरा करता है. देश में सभी प्रकार के मोटर वाहनों के लिए प्रदूषण मानक स्तर तय किए जाते हैं. एक बार कोई वाहन जब सफलतापूर्वक पीयूसी टेस्टक से गुजर जाता है तो वाहन मालिक को सर्टिफिकेट दिया जाता है. इस सर्टिफिकेट की मदद से पता चलता है कि वाहन का प्रदूषण नियमों के अनुसार है. इससे पर्यावरण को नुकसान नहीं है. सभी वाहनों को मान्य पीयूसी सर्टिफिकेट हासिल करना जरूरी है. ” अभी क्याा हैं नियम? :- मोटर व्हीूकल्सट (एमेंडमेंट) एक्ट 2019 के अनुसार, सार्वजनिक स्थान पर गाड़ी चलाने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति को राज्य सरकार की ओर से नियुक्त पुलिस अधिकारी के मांग किए जाने पर ये दस्तावेज दिखाने होंगे- -इंश्योररेंस सर्टिफिकेट; -रजिस्ट्रे शन सर्टिफिकेट; -पॉल्यूसशन अंडर कंट्रोल सर्टिफिकेट -ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस;
