And here we go! The power-packed teaser of Toofaan has just dropped and it looks set to be a film to watch out for. Toofaan will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on the 21st of May this year. The Farhan Akthar starrer is being backed by Excel Entertainment and ROMP (Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra) and Akhtar himself. Besides Akhtar, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur , Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak and Hussain Dalal. The film tells the story of a goon from Dongri who goes on to become a national level boxer.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee has tested covid positive. According to sources, the actor caught the virus while shooting for his film, Despatch which is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The shoot for the film has halted and will resume in a month’s time. The film’s director Kanu Behl had also tested positive for COVID-19 a while ago.

Bajpayee is on medication and recovering. The actor is also in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions. Despatch is based around the world of crime journalism. “As an actor I want to be part of stories that I want to tell and that deserve to be told. Despatch is one such film. With the digital age, our stories can now reach and be accessed by viewers across the globe and I’m confident this film will have many takers because it is relevant to our times. I am looking forward to collaborating with Kanu Behl who is well versed with the changing times and has total control on his craft of storytelling,” Bajpayee had said earlier in a statement

Actor Parineeti Chopra is set to blaze across the big screen on the 26th of March, playing the titular character in the Saina Nehwal biopic. “I had only my pressure and that of my director. I wanted to impress him and work hard to learn the sport. I didn’t take any external pressure. The pressure was me, my coach approving what I’m learning, my director approving what I’m looking like on-screen. There was no other pressure,” the actress told reporters during the trailer launch for the film, according to a leading daily.

John Abraham and Disha Patani have kickstarted shooting for Ek Villain 2. The film which is known for its thriller element and high on chartbusters, returns with a sequel and a brand new team. And looks like John and Disha are all out shooting for this one.

Yesterday our paparazzi got a sight of John Abraham and Disha Patani shooting for Ek Villain 2. A scenic beach was the location for their schedule and the two were clicked between the shots, once they were done giving their take and returning to their vanity vans. Disha had a pull-over around her to make sure her look is not out to the media, and John was seen in a black hoodie which had the smiley-emoji – giving us the perfect Ek Villain vibes and John written below it.

Ek Villain 2 also stars Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria and the four of them team up for the first time for this film. Mohit Suri continues to direct this franchise and everyone is super kicked to get this thriller back on the big screen in 2022.
