महिलाओं को कमतर नहीं आंका जाना चाहिए – हममें भी इच्छाएं हैं, महत्वाकांक्षाएं हैं, हमारी भी अपनी शारीरिक व भावनात्मक जरूरते हैं और हममें संतुलन बनाए रखने की भी क्षमता है। मेरे ख्याल से महिलाओं में सुपर पावर है। मुझे लगता है कि हमें फिल्मों में इन्हें दिखाए जाने की आवश्यकता है। भूमि आगे कहती हैं, ठीक इसी तरह से फिल्मों में पुरुषों को जिस अंदाज में पेश किया जाता है, उनमें बदलाव लाने की जरूरत है। हम पुरुषों पर यह कहकर काफी ज्यादा दबाव डाल देते हैं कि उन्हें ताकतवर बनना होगा, वे रो नहीं सकते, अपनी भावनाओं को खुलकर जाहिर नहीं कर सकते। ताकतवर होने का तात्पर्य इन्हीं से है। मर्द को दर्द नहीं होता, इस सोच को बदलने की जरूरत है।
