Corona ने तोड़ी Education Sector की कमर, 1000 Private School ब्रिकी के लिए Ready कोविड-19 महामारी का भारत में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी बेहद बुरा असर पड़ा है. देशभर में नर्सरी से लेकर 12वीं तक के 1000 से ज्यादा स्कूल बिकने की कगार पर पहुंच गई है. ये स्कूल ब्रिकी के लिए तैयार हैं. अगले दो-तीन सालों में इन स्कूलों को बेचकर करीब 7500 करोड़ रुपये कमाए जा सकते हैं. एजुकेशन सेक्टर से जुड़ी सेरेस्ट्री वेंचर्स की तरफ से जुटाए गए आंकड़ों के अनुसार ब्रिकी के लिए रखे गए ज्यादातर स्कूलों की सालाना फीस 50 हजार रुपये है. इसके मुताबिक भारत के करीब 80 फीसदी छात्र इन्हीं फीस स्लैब वाले स्कूलों में पढ़ते हैं. सेरेस्ट्रा में पार्टनर विशाल गोयल के अनुसार महामारी के दौरान कई राज्य सरकारों ने फीस लेने की सीमा तय कर दी है जबकि शिक्षकों की सैलरी के अलावा दूसरे खर्चें हो रहे हैं.
इस वजह से निजी स्कूलों की माली हालत खस्ता हो गई है. उन्होंने कहा कि एक बड़े स्कूल चेन को अपने स्टाफ की सैलरी 70 फीसदी तक घटानी पड़ी है. गोयल आगे कते हैं, ‘भविष्य में स्थितियां कैसी होंगी, इसे लेकर उलझन की स्थिति बनी हुई है. इस कारण स्कूलों में फंडिंग के आसार भी नहीं के बराबर हैं. इसलिए भी इन स्कूलों की मुश्किलें और बढ़ गई हैं।’ गोयल की कंपनी के 30 से ज्यादा स्कूल हैं जिसमें नर्सरी से लेकर 12वीं तक पढ़ाई होती है. इन स्कूलों में 1400 करोड़ निवेश की जरूरत है. सिर्फ छोटे या मध्यम स्कूलों को ही नहीं बल्कि बड़े स्कूल की चेन चलाने वालों को भी मुश्किलें पेश आ रही हैं. यूरोकिड्स इंटरनेशनल के देशभर में 30 से ज्यादा स्कूल हैं और यह अब इस कारोबार से निकलने की फिराक में हैं. यूरोकिड्स इंटरनैशनल के ग्रुप सीईओ प्रजोध राजन कहते हैं, ‘कई बार इन स्कूलों को अपने प्रमोटरों के अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में निवेश के कारण झटका लगता है. प्रमोटरों के दूसरे कारोबार प्रभावित होने से इसका खामियाजा स्कूल को भी भुगतना पड़ता है.’
