खासगी ट्रस्ट के अधीन चल रही सभी संपत्तियों को मप्र शासन प्रबंधक कलेक्टर के नाम करने का काम तेज हो गया है। जिले के सभी चिन्हित मंदिरों पर संबंधित एसडीएम ने कब्जे में लेकर मप्र शासन के बोर्ड लगा दिए हैं। वहीं कलेक्टर मनीष सिंह ने सभी अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि जिन भी मंदिरों में किसी भी तरह की दान राशि या अन्य फंड आता है, उसे सुरक्षित रखने के लिए अलग से बैंक खाता खोला जाए। इस बैंक खाते में ही यह राशि जमा की जाएगी, जिसे रिकॉर्ड पर लिया जाएगा।
हर बैंक खाते के लिए संबंधित क्षेत्र के एसडीएम या धर्म शाखा प्रभारी को जिम्मेदारी सौंपी जाएगी। कलेक्टर सिंह ने कहा कि सभी संपत्तियों का जायजा लिया जा रहा है कि उन्हें भविष्य के लिए और किस तरह से सुरक्षित किया जा सकता है, साथ ही अन्य संपत्तियों के भी रिकॉर्ड खंगाले जा रहे हैं। जहां कब्जे मिलेंगे, वहां हटाने की कार्रवाई होगी और कुछ जगह पर कानूनी वाद चल रहे हैं, जिसके लिए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि वह कोर्ट में हाई कोर्ट का आदेश प्रस्तुत कर वाद का निराकरण कराएं।
