बंगाल की खाड़ी में बने सिस्टम ने भोपाल समेत मप्र को फिर बारिश से तर कर दिया। नर्मदापुरम संभाग कमिश्नर रजनीश श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि होशंगाबाद में लगातार हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश से जिले में बाढ़ से हालात काफ़ी बिगड़ चुके है। नदिया उफान पर आ गई है, स्थिति को देखते हुए सेना को बुलाया गया है, NDRF की दो यूनिट भी बुलाई गईं ,शाम तक सेना के हेलीकाप्टर होशंगाबाद आएंगे, नर्मदा नदी का जल स्तर खतरे के निशान 964 से 4 फिट ऊपर 968.90 फिट पर पहुंच गया है और तवा डेम के सभी 13 गेटों को 30-30 फिट खोल कर 5 लाख 33 हजार 823 क्यूसिक पानी प्रति सेकेंड छोड़ा जा रहा है। कई क्षेत्रों में पानी भर गया है|
जिसके बाद जिलेभर में अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। घाटों से दूर रहने की हिदायद की गई है। खतरे के निशान से 4 फीट से ऊपर पानी बह रहा है और भी पानी का जलस्तर बढ़ने की संभावना होशंगाबाद का आध्यात्मिक मंदिर काले महादेव में मां नर्मदा ने प्रवेश किया इटारसी में भी कई इलाको में भराया पानी :- होशंगाबाद एवं इटारसी की अनेकों कॉलोनियां जलमग्न हो गई है घाट से सटे सभी क्षेत्र क्षेत्रों में पानी का जमाव हो चुका है जमानी सबस्टेशन हुआ पूरी तरह जलमग्न, सबस्टेशन मैं भराया लगभग 3 – 4 फिट पानी, बिजली सप्लाई पूरी तरह से ठप हुआ | ओंकारेश्वर बांंध का जल स्तर 195.12 मी. पहुंचा इंदिरा सागर बांध का पानी तेजी से ओंकारेश्वर बांध में आने के कारण इस सीजन में पहली बार बांध के 23 में से 21 गेट खोले गए। महाप्रबंधक प्रशांत दीक्षित ने बताया 21 गेट खोलकर और 8 टरबाईन से 10 हजार क्यूमेक्स पानी छोड़ रहे। बांध प्रबंधन से सूचना मिलने के बाद सभी घाटों को खाली करवा लिया गया। किसी भी श्रद्धालु या व्यक्ति को नर्मदा किनारे नहीं जाने के निर्देश दे दिए थे। नरसिंहपुर… प्रदेश में सबसे ज्यादा 12 इंच बारिश दर्ज की गई। नदी-नालों का पानी कॉलोनियों में घुसा। छिंदवाड़ा… 2.7 इंच बारिश, नदियों का पानी सड़कों पर आने से सभी रास्ते बंद। वाहनों की लंबी कतार लगी।
